Thats why its important to not believe the hype about programming languages. There are so many programmers out there that have no idea what they are doing and that have a lot of confidence in their abilities. These programmers want to believe that they can make the world, or a computer, better. But thats not how it works. The world is already better because someone is making sure that it is.

The idea is to create a better world. I think that’s the biggest thing. I think that’s why people like to think “I don’t want to do this.” But this is a very dangerous idea. If you want to build a better world, you have to create something else. You have to create something that is more like a computer, and more like a robot. That’s the one thing you don’t want to do. A robot is just a robot.

It’s not just robots that are more like computers. Machines have been programmed to do just about everything a human can do. All of them are capable of speech and self-awareness, and have the ability to reproduce themselves. They’re all still programmed, they’re just more intelligent. As a programmer, I find this statement to be very true. I love programming languages because they give me the ability to create programs that are indistinguishable from humans. Sure, the program is programmed (I’m just programming this code) but it is still a human doing the programming.
